Life will present many challenging situations and events which we can't control. We often have to make instant decisions, impulsive and emotional reactions, when faced with discomfort and stressful situations. In this video, Richard discusses his experience of working through a life-changing scenario. The initial stress it caused and then creating a mindset which reframed the situation.
Utilising a mindful approach, with appreciation for the present moment, can be a key tool to unlocking the joy in day to day life. It's easy to live in a mentality of fear of the unknown or fear of loss. By moving out of that mindset, you can learn to appreciate moments in each day in a different way, simply by understanding how to 'be'. This is often easier said than done, but with practice comes the shift. ๐๐
